🗑️ Account Deletion

We’re sorry to see you go! You can delete your MeloMatch account directly from the app at any time. This process is quick and easy.

How to Delete Your Account

Step 1: Open MeloMatch Launch the MeloMatch app on your Android device

Step 2: Go to Settings Tap on your profile icon, then tap the settings gear icon

Step 3: Find Delete Account Scroll down to the bottom and tap “Delete Account”

Step 4: Confirm Deletion Read the confirmation message and tap “Delete” to proceed

⚠️ What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed within 30 days:

Profile information (name, age, gender, bio)
All uploaded photos
Match history and connections
Chat messages and conversations
Music preferences and Spotify integration data
Account settings and preferences
Subscription information (active subscription will be canceled)

📋 Data Retention for Legal Purposes

Some data may be retained for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes for up to 90 days:

Phone number (for anti-fraud and ban enforcement)
Reported content and safety violations (for ongoing investigations)
Transaction history (for billing disputes and refund processing)
Device identifiers (for security purposes)

Important: This action cannot be undone. If you have an active subscription, it will be canceled immediately, but you won’t receive a refund for any unused time.
