📱 Method 1 — Uninstall the App (Fastest)
All of your locally stored data is deleted automatically when you uninstall Florida Roads & Cameras from your device. This includes:
- Camera favorites and custom groups
- App preferences (theme, units, notification settings)
- Locally cached camera images and incident data
- Firebase anonymous authentication session
iOS: Long-press the app icon → Remove App → Delete App.
Android: Long-press the app icon → App info → Uninstall. Or go to Settings → Apps → Florida Roads & Cameras → Uninstall.
📧 Method 2 — Email a Data Deletion Request
For data that is held by our third-party service providers (crash reports, analytics, subscription records), email us and we will initiate deletion on your behalf.
- Send an email to info@kovanapps.com.
- Subject line: “Florida Roads & Cameras – Data Deletion Request”
- Include (optional) your Firebase Installation ID or RevenueCat App User ID if you know them. These are not required — we can process a deletion request without any identifier.
- If you are a subscriber, mention the store (Apple or Google) and the approximate subscription date.
We will respond within 30 days and confirm once deletion is complete.
📲 Method 3 — Reset Your Advertising ID
The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob uses your device's advertising identifier. You can reset or disable it at any time:
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off “Allow Apps to Request to Track”. You can also open the App, go to Settings, and respond “Ask App Not to Track” to the prompt.
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
Pro subscribers do not see ads, so no advertising ID is used while subscribed.
🌍 Method 4 — Third-Party Data Deletion (Advanced)
You may also request deletion directly from each third-party service that the App uses:
- Google (AdMob + Firebase): myaccount.google.com → Data & privacy → Delete a service or your account.
- RevenueCat (subscription records): Email support@revenuecat.com with your subscription App User ID, or request we do it on your behalf via Method 2 above.
- Apple (purchase records): These are held by Apple and can be requested via privacy.apple.com.
Note: we cannot delete data held by Apple or Google on our behalf.
