🗑️ Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data using either of the methods below.

⚠️ This action is permanent. Deleting your account will permanently remove your profile, photos, matches, messages, and all associated data. This cannot be undone.

📱 Method 1 — Delete in the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the MeloMatch app on your device
  2. Tap your profile photo to open your profile
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Tap Account Settings
  5. Select Delete Account
  6. Read the confirmation and tap Confirm Delete

✉️ Method 2 — Request via Email

If you can't access the app, send us a deletion request by email.

  1. Email us at info@kovanapps.com
  2. Use the subject: "Account Deletion Request – MeloMatch"
  3. Include the phone number associated with your account
  4. We will process your request and confirm deletion within 72 hours

📋 What happens to your data?

  1. Your profile is immediately deactivated and hidden from other users
  2. Your photos, messages, and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days
  3. Some data may be retained for up to 90 days for legal, security, or fraud prevention purposes only
  4. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely
